For the store that has everything from hardware to gifts and furniture check out Reinman’s Department Store. If you need it, they will have it.     The recently renovated Clayton Opera House is a sight to behold. They are open year round with all types of entertainment booked for your enjoyment. Another “must see” in Clayton is the Antique Boat Museum. Plan to spend the day. The antique boats are really spectacular. You can even book a speed boat ride.

    In the winter put the Christmas Parade on your list. For a small town they really do it up right. You will be amazed by the floats. After the parade you can enjoy a fireworks display over the river. It is a fun night.

    During the summer there are events every weekend some of these include Craft Shows, Antique Shows, the Train Show, the Duck and Decoy Show, River Dogs (dogs jumping into a pool) and the newest event Pumpkin Chunkin. Tourists and locals alike enjoy the activities that Clayton has to offer.
